Deeside Lodge
is a Victorian fishing lodge set in one
acre of gardens located on the banks of
the River Dee famous for its salmon
fishing, it boasts a quiet location
within the village and local tea rooms
and pubs/restaurants are within walking
distance.
Walks and
cycle tracks are available directly from
the house and salmon fishing on the Dee
can be arranged.
Our rooms are furnished in a classic style with
crisp white linen, white towels, organic home
grown flowers and a hospitality tray. Guests are
welcome to relax in the garden in the summer or
the drawing room with its roaring log fire in the
winter. We welcome (clean) dogs into one of the
guest rooms and can store bikes overnight
securely.

Set in the heart of Royal Deeside, Glendavan House was built as a shooting lodge in 1886. The house stands in its own extensive grounds - seven acres of natural pine woodland overlooking Loch Davan.

Aboyne stands on the south side of the River Dee,
around a large green where an annual Highland Gathering takes place. The
ideal location from which to explore the 13th century castle the Valley of
Glen Tanar, and Macbeth’s Cairn at nearby Lumphanan. Rumoured to be the
place where Macbeth made his final stand before being killed in the 11th
century.
