Our aim is simple. It is
to deliver a high and continuously improving
level of customer service. We greet our guests
individually and as we own and run the business
ourselves, John and I personally cook a
traditional Scottish breakfast, clean and
provide for your every need. All our rooms are
comfortably furnished and have tea and coffee
facilities. Our guests are welcome to relax in
either of our lounges, one of which has TV and
DVD player, and out in the garden. Guests have
full access to storage areas for bikes or skis
and to drying facilities.
We also have a self
catering cottage, fully furnished and equipped,
sleeps four, from £250 per week. Schiehallion
House is within Braemar. We are 8 miles from
Balmoral Castle and 6 miles from the Glenshee
Ski Centre. It is an excellent location for
golf, cycling, walking, skiing, exploring Royal
Deeside and all the Whiskey Trails. Golfing at
Braemar Golf Course can also be arranged (March
to October).
