All Saints - North Street, York, is generally regarded as the finest of York's many medieval churches and contains some of the finest early 15th Century stained glass in the world, together with a painted Angel ceiling (1472) and a re-used Roman column.
The site of visions of the Virgin Mary in 1421, which foretold the untimely death of Henry V, and defined the political landscape of England and France for years to come.
