GLAMIS

A small village with a conservation area protecting its traditional 18th century cottages, famous for it castle, which happened to be the childhood home of the late Queen Mother, and the birthplace of Princess Margaret. It was the legendary home of Shakespeare's Macbeth, and is open to visitors most of the year, together with the Angus Folk Museum.
