Originally built by the Queen's bankers and steeped in trading history this grand 17th century town house is quietly tucked away down one of the famous 'closes' at the heart of Montrose. Now lovingly restored its gloriously proportioned rooms sweeping bay windows and wide staircases create an extremely spacious and very comfortable ambience and from the lower ground level doors lead to a large walled garden. Lying by the sea Montrose boasts a lovely beach and a wide tidal basin host to thousands of migratory wildfowl.
