Stables lies less than 1 minutes walk from the
spectacular beach, with its far reaching views
up and down the Sound of Mull and only a couple
of minutes walk from the entrance to the Glen
itself with the mountain of Ben Talaidh rising
away in the west.
The Old
Stables is a two bedroom wooden cottage that
gives a real home-from-home environment.
Completely refurbished, redecorated and
renovated. All the furnishings have been
selected to ensure they are comfortable, plus
the layout of the cottage has been thought
about, so there is a full sized bath, a
convenient fire, plus the kitchen has a
dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer.
Outside there is a good sized garden where there
is a barbecue and outside seating, again all
that you would expect from a home-from-home. The
Old Stables has been thoughtfully laid out to
accommodate four people, although there is the
added flexibility of a sofa bed in the living
room to enable six people to stay if required.

Caravans are situated at Crannich Farm within
150 acres of farmland in Glen Aros on the Isle
of Mull.
From our land there are great walks, panoramic
views of the glen, Loch Frisa and the river
Aros, with the Morvern hills in the distance and
the most fantastic sunsets.
We have holiday caravans which have identical
facilities, set in their own grounds on land
nearby the farmhouse and barns. Each caravan
sleeps four people comfortably with two
bedrooms, one double and a twin. There is a
kitchen dining living area with gas cooker and
oven, microwave, fridge freezer and TV / DVD
player and gas fire. The bathroom has hot shower
hand basin and WC, and the twin room has
facility to accommodate a cot which can be
provided on request. The bathroom and bedrooms
all have electric heaters. All bed linen towels
and tea towels are included apart from cot
bedding. Gas and electric are inclusive. Outside
each caravan is a sitting area with a picnic
table and garden. There is a fenced off pond
which has recently been established to attract

An hour's drive away Oban is not only the departure point for boat trips to 'the Isles' but also home to a sealife centre and rare breeds park. For the energetic wind surfing horse riding and mountain biking can all be enjoyed nearby as can clay pigeon shooting whilst golfers are well provided for by five local courses and the championship course at Machrihanish near Campbeltown.
Internationally renowned for its fresh seafood caught in Loch Fyne the sea loch just by Tarbert and around the west coast Tarbert also hosts a number of festivals throughout the year – the Scottish Sailing Regatta in May the Seafood Festival in July and the Music Festival in September. This most attractive fishing village also offers a good selection of craft shops art galleries coffee shops and restaurants.
