Set
in 200 acres, Scald End Working Farm offer
accommodation in beautiful eighteenth century
barns transformed into five self contained
properties sleeping between one to seven people.
Each property has retained the character of the
original barns. We supply bed linen and towels
for your stay, as well as milk and our fresh
farm eggs on your arrival. Your stay includes
complimentary use of our fully equipped laundry
room, with washers, driers and supplies. Wi-Fi
internet access available to guests with their
own laptops.
We are a
working farm situated outside the picturesque
village of Thurleigh in North Bedfordshire. The
accommodation is located within easy reach of
the working farm , but far enough away as to not
disturb the tranquility and relaxed atmosphere
retained within the eighteenth century
courtyard. Seven donkeys kept as pets. Guests
have full access to walk around the farm.

We cater for the holidaymaker and those on
business, as well as people visiting relatives
in the area, or in between properties. We
provide clean, comfortable well-equipped
cottages available on a weekly basis (families
very welcome). Rental includes gas central
heating, electricity, bed linen and towels,
there are no hidden charges. Short breaks are

at the foot of the Chiltern Hills in South
Bedfordshire on the outskirts of the villages of
Eaton Bray and Edlesborough, 4 miles from
Dunstable and only 9 miles from Luton Airport.
Set in 21 acres of picturesque grounds we offer
high quality bed & breakfast and self-catering
accommodation. The Log Cabin (Sleeps 2):
The log cabin is a large studio style room,
which stands alone and is set apart from the
rest of the accommodation. Mill End (Sleeps
4): Mill End is part of the old water mill
and retains many of its original features and
machinery. The accommodation is on three floors
and is comfortably furnished. Small
conservatory, leading into the garden, which is
surrounded by a stream and the millrace and is
therefore not safe for small children. The
Cottage (Sleeps 6/8): The Cottage has three
double bedrooms, one with twin beds, and two
with king size beds, one of which can be
converted to another twin. A fourth bedroom is
available if required situated in the loft

These four immaculately presented cottages with
solid oak floors, underfloor heating and
contemporary wet rooms are secure in their own
enclosed courtyard. Each cottage is
comprehensively equipped with fridge/freezer, 3
ring gas hob, dishwasher, digital TV/DVD and
broadband. All bed linen, duvets and towels are
provided. Outside in the courtyard there is
plenty of secure parking and provision for easy
loading and unloading. The properties are south
facing and enjoy their own private patio space
with garden furniture. Well behaved pets,
including horses, are welcome. These properties
are ideal as a base from which to explore the
area for either holiday tourists, businessmen,
golfers, walkers or those visiting friends and
family. They are located a mere 15 minutes from
central Milton Keynes and under an hour from
central London. The excellent train links from
Cheddington station are a mile away.

cottages have been beautifully converted from a
barn, on a working farm, to a very high standard
and very well-equipped with gas central heating
throughout. They are 2-storey, sleeping 4 - 6
people, one double room, one twin room and a
sofa bed. Welcome packs are provided for guests.
There is
a pub and a village shop within walking
distance. There is an abundance of attractions
in and around the area - Whipsnade Wild Animal
Park, Woburn Safari Park, Ashridge Forest,
Milton Keynes, Mead Open Farm. Rated as 4*

Acorn
Cottage is a lovely barn conversion in the rural
location of Highfield Farm. The cottage can
accommodate up to eight people, offering
four-double/twin rooms. Four bathrooms
complement the bedrooms, one of which includes a
wheel in the shower room.
The
kitchen is fully equipped including dishwasher
and tumble dryer. A comfortable sitting/dinning
room completes the cottage. Linen included.
Guest have great opportunity to explore the
immediate area, by foot, cycle (available to
hire) and by car. 3 other cottages available,
