The Secret House is in an ideal location for exploring southern Scotland, nearby nature reserve at Duns Castle, driving into the Edinburgh International Arts Festival or discovering Holy Island and Northumberland. The Secret House is an unusual and different 16th Century Scottish Border Town House, it has 3 floors, an enormous courtyard, and a stable for horses or cars.

Accommodation consists of 1 twin, 1 double room both with bath/shower-rooms, parking for cars and cycles. Garage space for unloading and drying sports equipment on request. Self Catering accommodation in a cottage which sleeps 2-8 or farm barn studio sleeping 2 is available from June to October 2009.The cottage is £550.00 per week and the studio is from £150.00 per week.

Green Hope provides either bed and breakfast or self catering accommodation. The property nestles in the quiet seclusion of the Whiteadder river valley in the Scottish borders. This was once a traditional stone built cottage but has now been thoroughly modernised to make it spacious and comfortable.

Green Hope lies at the end of a private lane - a world away from the noise and rush of life and offers unsurpassed peaceful relaxation. Activities include fishing for trout or salmon on the Whiteadder or the Tweed is only 30 minutes away. For walkers The Southern Upland Way runs right opposite Green Hope, and wonderful walks (short or long) begin at the front door. We offer meals by arrangement. Easy access to all beaches and 1 hour to Edinburgh.
