This detached cottage in the town of Ayton, three miles from Eyemouth close to the English/Scottish border, is set within its own grounds opposite the magnificent Ayton Castle, within walking distance of a shop and pub yet in a peaceful rural setting. There is a king-size double bedroom, a twin room which can be made up as a double if required, and a sofabed in the cosy study, offering a real flexibility of accommodation. There are numerous walks from the doorstep, plus castles and country houses within easy reach. Less than an hours travelling takes you to Edinburgh to the north or Newcastle-upon-Tyne to the south, ensuring there is no shortage of things to entertain and enjoy from this lovely property.

The fishing village of Burnmouth lies just 1 mile distant and Eyemouth where visitors can feed wild seals is 3½ miles and the St Abb's Head nature reserve's spectacular clifftop walks are only 7 miles away.
