Set between the Borders Forest Park and Northumberland National Park and only 8 miles from Kielder Reservoir the location is ideal for walking cycling and sailing or just simply taking in the breathtaking vistas. Hadrian's Wall and its roman forts are well worth exploring and delightful days out can be enjoyed in the Lake District Northumberland Heritage Coast and the historic city of Edinburgh which are all within 1½ hours' drive. Horse riding 2 miles. Newcastleton (7 miles) offers shops and pubs serving food.
