canol is a 200 year old property which
offers either a self catering cottage or
Bed & Breakfast.
We are situated just outside the Brecon
Beacons National Park.
The cottage set in 6 acres of farmland
and gardens commands stunning views of

It is an ideal base for a whole variety of
activities from swimming, caving, cycling &
walking to visiting ancient stone age, iron age,
bronze age & medieval historical sites. Tourist
attractions abound with a number of castles,
country parks, museums, gardens, cave systems etc.
Nearby are two major cities, Swansea and Cardiff
with all the shopping, restaurants and cultural
activities you could wish for. Only an hour away
is the spectacular Gower peninsula with its award
winning beaches. There is plenty to do for any age
group - but if you just want peace and quiet - the
hills of the National Park await you. On the wild,
western side of the park, it is possible to walk
for hours without seeing another person. Your only
companions would be the beautiful red kites, wild
moorland ponies and sheep! Yes, we have 9 million
sheep in Wales!
