Georgian farm house, built on an elevated
position with views overlooking Fowey
Estuary.
The
house is situated in it's own 45 acres of
rolling pasture and arable fields which run
down to the waters edge.
An attractive tree edged tidal inlet forms
the northern boundary of the property,
affording complete quiet and privacy.
The
area is popular for sailing, various water
sports, walking or visits to local National
Trust Properties, The Eden Project and The
Lost Gardens of Heligan.
Furnished and decorated to a high
standard the accommodation offers two double
bedrooms with either a private bathroom or private
shower room. Each has tea/coffee making facilities
and colour TV. Full English breakfast is served in
the pleasant dining room with Vegetarian and
special diets catered for. Winter Breaks are
available. Ample private car parking. Bellscat is
a non smoking guest house. Sorry no children under
12 years of age. Special breaks available after
Easter during April.

One of Cornwall’s tourist hotspots with its
steep, narrow streets, Fowey is pronounced ‘Foy’. Sir Quiller-Couch
(1863-1944), the author of some of the best stories written about Cornwall,
lived in a waterside house. Whilst the modern writer Daphne du Maurier lived
at 17th century ‘Mennabilly’. and immortalised the house as ‘Mandaley’ in
her 1938 novel ‘Rebecca’.
