Saltash, a beautiful old fishing village is known
as the gateway between Devon and Cornwall. Overshadowed by Brunel’s great
19th century rail bridge, the Royal Albert, and the remains of Trematon
Castle. Whilst Ince Castle, built in 1642, features four, three-storey
towers. It burned down in 1986 but has since been rebuilt.
