The White Hart Royal is a wonderful example of a typical 17th century English coaching inn. In 1644 King Charles I took refuge here during the Civil War. The hotel has many lovely original features such as old stone walls, mellow beam work and an unusual cobblestone entrance hall. The

The Righton family has been farming at Dorn for 3 generations. The farmhouse dates back to the 15th Century and has 3 bedrooms, all overlooking the garden. Old Farm is a 300 acre mixed farm with sheep, cattle, pigs, hens and 150 acres of arable land. We have a small farm shop where we sell our home produced meats and other local produce. We serve up our home made bacon and sausages with fresh eggs from our hens for breakfast along with local bread, milk, butter, jam, yoghuts and apple juice...
A genuine welcome and comfortable accommodation is assured at Aston House, in a peaceful village just 1.5 miles from Stow-on-the-Wold. It is central for touring the Cotswold villages and countryside. The Fox Inn is in walking distance (but do bring a torch for the return journey!)
