This family run hotel offers a relaxed, informal
home-from-home atmosphere where guests can enjoy
excellent home cooked food, wines and ales. The
hotel is a beautiful Victorian building, built
from Lakeland stone and is ideally located to
enjoy local walks, or it's own 9 hole golf course
(loan clubs available), or tennis on the village
tennis court (rackets available).
All 11 rooms are en-suite (except one pretty room
with private bathroom) and two are located on
the ground floor and have direct access to the
courtyard seating area. These rooms are suitable
for disabled guests (with full disabled access to
the hotel and dining areas) and can also welcome
guests who would like to bring their dogs. A
number of z-beds are available so that families
with children can share their parents’ room and
there are baby facilities with cot, highchair etc
available for loan , free of charge. The dining
rooms are beautifully decorated and are elegant,
yet informal, where guests can enjoy lunch or
dinner daily. They are perfect for a private
function for any occasion and can seat up to 40 in
two rooms or separately for smaller parties. CAMRA

The Bay Horse Inn is a lovely 16c Coaching Inn situated on the Village Green in the picturesque village of Winton. Winton is a typical Cumbrian settlement from the Early English period nestling in the beautiful Eden Valley. Situated in the village of Nateby just a mile south of Kirkby Stephen, the Black Bull Inn can be found in the centre of the Village, directly opposite the road leading to Swaledale.
