The Langdale Chase built
in 1890 and opened as a hotel in 1930 has large
imposing rooms, oak-panelled and mellowed with
the years, a collection of fine oil paintings,
ornate carved fireplaces and the magnificent oak

There is a large entrance to the front door and the floor throughout is mostly flat, either flagged or carperted. We have a fully equipped disabled toilet. However, we do have some issues for mobility into the upstairs bedroom area, the most popular route to the rooms do have very steep steps leading up to them, however this issue is combatted as we have a back entrance which involves a small hill and a ramp into the upstairs floor.
