They are bordered by a beck and have access to over 6 acres of lovely woodland. The area is a walker's paradise where wildlife abounds. Broughton-in-Furness (4 miles) has good pubs and shops. Sailing and boat trips can be enjoyed on Lake Coniston (15 miles) and Lake Windermere (20 miles) and the coast with sandy beach at Silecroft is 10 miles. Muncaster Castle and the spectacular Hardnott Pass are close by.
