The Red Lion Inn is situated
in a small village just of the A3072 about a mile
and a half from Crediton. We are a pub/restaurant
and can also accommodate guests.
There is a children's play
area, and beer garden. We serve a wide variety of
meals including fish dishes, curries and can cater
for vegetarians. All the bedrooms have flatscreen
TV's, DVD players, tea/coffee making facilities
and complimentary toiletries. All guests have use

In the valley of the River Credy, was the
cathedral city of Devon until the 10th century. A Legend dictates that
Crediton was the birthplace of the 8th century Christian missionary St.
Boniface, who would later became known as the Apostle of Germany. A statue
can be viewed within the entrance of Crediton’s 15th century church, whilst
his death and martyrdom are part of a stained glass window.
