Golf riding and fishing can all be enjoyed locally and there are shops and a pub serving food 1 mile away.

A 'round robin' circular tour can be enjoyed from Paignton to Kingswear (steam train) across by ferry to Dartmouth with a leisurely cruise up the Dart to Totnes a charming old town full of quaint shops galleries and local produce. The National Trust properties Killerton Knighthayes Court and Castle Drogo are all within easy reach as are Devon's grandest historical garden at Bicton Botanical Park and the glories of Dartmoor and Exmoor.
