Set amidst rolling hills and lush farmland these charming and very comfortably furnished cottages are set on the edge of the pretty village of Uffculme. Part of a small group of beautifully converted farm buildings they offer a wonderful base for exploring this lovely area. The delights of Lyme Regis and Sidmouth lie within easy reach as does the beautiful moorland landscapes of Dartmoor and Exmoor and the glorious north Devon coast. For railway enthusiasts there is a local Tarka line and a great combination trip from Paignton to Kingswear thence over to Dartmouth by ferry and a leisurely river trip up the Dart to Totnes. A little further afield are the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan. Bicton Botanical Park's superb historical gardens are close by and N.T. properties at Knighthayes Court Castle Drogo and Killerton are within easy reach. This is an area of excellent local produce – try the Organic Farmer's market at Hitchcock's Farm Uffculme for the area's finest clotted cream! Riding fishing golf tennis and wonderful walks locally.
