In a picturesque little fishing village this quaint fisherman's cottage full of character is tucked away in a conservation area of narrow pedestrian streets grassy lanes and cobbled courtyards behind the bustling quay. Within a stone's throw are art galleries shops and choice of restaurants and pubs the family pastime of crabbing (lines and bait available locally) can also be enjoyed. Wonderful sandy beaches and coastal walks along with golf riding and boat trips to spectacular Lundy Island are all within 2 miles. The Cornish coast and Exmoor are just 30 minutes drive.

From here there are scenic boat trips fishing for bass or mackerel and a pedestrian ferry to Instow's sandy beach. An excellent maritime museum displays the history of this ancient seafaring area. A renowned golf course indoor swimming pool and a centre for canoeing abseiling and other activities are within 2 miles. Bideford is 3 miles and many visitor attractions are under 5 miles. Exmoor and north Cornwall are easily accessible.
