The Park Mill Farm cottages are situated in a magical riverside setting with
20 acres of lush fields, woods and parkland where you are free to roam along
with the abundant wildlife. There are two rivers running through the property
and a private fishing lake with free fishing for guests. River fishing
requires a licence which can be obtained at any post office. Carp, brown trout
and salmon can be caught here. All cottages have natural slate flagstones
throughout ground floors while the upper floors all have solid oak flooring.
All doors and window frames are attractive solid timber and many windows have
deep window seats and most look out over fields and farmlands. Under floor
heating and hot water is provided by a ‘ground source heat pump’, an eco
friendly “green” system. Waste water is cleansed and disposed of through a
special water treatment plant.
