TOTNES
Totnes was once an important port is overlooked
by an 11th century castle and is packed with historical interest, from the
unusual, arcaded high street to a museum housed in an Elizabethan merchant’s
house. The church dates to the 15th century, whilst the civic centre dates
back to the 11th century. There's also the Tones Motor Museum, whilst
nearby, the family home and gardens of Agatha Christie, are open to the
public.
