Our log cabins overlook the golf course and the
loch surrounded by hills and forest teeming with
wildlife, and only a quarter mile inland from
the Dumfries and Galloway coast. All of the
Scandinavian style self catering holiday chalets
are individually owned, and individually
furnished, but all are comfortable, well
equipped, with central heating for year round
use and were awarded 3 stars by the Scottish
Tourist Board.
There are three types of
accommodation; all equipped for the freedom of
self-catering and our prices include bed linen &
towels. All chalets have TV and DVD, some have
dishwashers, satellite and Wi-Fi. Not all
chalets have all of these - please ask on
booking. Our facilities include; a bar and
restaurant, a small children's play area, two
purpose built boules courts overlooked by
terraced picnic areas with panoramic views, a
laundrette, an indoor heated pool and sauna.
There are sixteen golf courses within twenty
miles, the nearest being Colvend which is two
minutes by car from our site and which many of
the chalets overlook. Share the free fishing
with the otters in Barend Loch, where 14lb carp
have been caught. Cycles are available for hire
on site. Dumfries and Galloway has over 400
miles of sign-posted cycle routes as well as the
7 stanes mountain bike trails.
