Our log cabins overlook the golf course and the loch surrounded by hills and forest teeming with wildlife, and only a quarter mile inland from the beach at Sandyhills and the Dumfries and Galloway coast.   Indoor heated swimming pool and sauna available all year.

All of the Scandinavian style self catering holiday chalets are individually owned, and individually furnished, but all are comfortable, well equipped, with central heating for year round use. There are three types of accommodation; all equipped for the freedom of self-catering and our prices include bed linen & towels.

All chalets have TV and DVD, some have dishwashers, satellite and Wi-Fi. Not all chalets have all of these - please ask on booking. Our facilities include; a bar and restaurant, a small children's play area, a laundrette and two purpose built boules courts overlooked by terraced picnic areas with panoramic views. There are sixteen golf courses within twenty miles, the nearest being Colvend which is two minutes by car from our site and which many of the chalets overlook. Share the free fishing with the otters in Barend Loch, where 14lb carp have been caught. Cycles are available for hire on site. Dumfries and Galloway has over 400 miles of sign-posted cycle routes as well as the 7 stanes mountain bike trails.

Come and enjoy the tranquillity on our 440 acre working farm where you can take the opportunity to get away from it all. You can enjoy a barbeque spend the day chilling out in your own outdoor hot spa, take a walk and explore some of the stunning views from our own farm. Wood End cottage is a traditional granite cottage in a quiet cul-de-sac, just a 10 minute walk from the town centre.   Ideally placed to explore the area and perfectly located for walking, cycling, mountain biking, wildlife & bird watching, sailing on the near-by lochs and golfing.

We now have facilities for mountain bikes including a storage and bike wash area and drying room. Accommodation comprises: large comfortable lounge with open fire, well-appointed kitchen with separate dining area. Upstairs: one twin and one double bedroom, large bathroom with bath and separate shower. Heated towel rail. Central heating.
