Cottages enjoy a spectacular outlook down

loveliest, least-trampled countryside in

The luxury self-catering cottages have been
converted from original sandstone farm buildings
and renovated to a high standard, set round a
lovely landscaped courtyard with an adjacent wood
and stunning views of the valley.
Although the cottages retain much of their
original character and features, they offer all
the comforts of home with well-equipped kitchens,
cosy living areas, bathrooms and showers with
en-suite master bedrooms and King-size beds
available. Each cottage also has its own patio
area with garden furniture and barbeque.
Facilities include a heated indoor pool & sauna,
games room (table tennis & pool
table) and a safe children's play area. There is
also a large selection of over 200 films for you
to view free of charge in your cottage.
The attractive village of Thornhill is only half a
mile away and has an excellent selection of shops,
restaurants and pubs. This is an ideal centre for
both walkers and cyclists with horse riding
facilities just round the corner. There is
excellent fishing on the river Nith & many local
lochs and plenty of good golf courses. Explore the
natural beauty of Dumfries & Galloway and visit
many castles and historic houses in the area
including places associated with Scotland's
National Bard, Robert Burns. The ancient Burgh of
Dumfries and the stunning Solway coast are within
easy reach. Our visitors return to Templand
cottages again and again to enjoy the tranquil
beauty here.
Pets are welcome by prior arrangement. A warm
welcome awaits!
