The 4 guest bedrooms are on the first floor. All have en-suite facilities. Where ever possible, we are happy to move furniture to aid any particular requirements. Regrettably the house is not suitable for wheel chair users. The house is approximately 200 metres from the sea front and Blue Anchor Station. The walk from both is up a moderately steep hill. The driveway is moderately steep. The house is set back about fifteen metres from the road and good lighting is provided. Cars can be driven to the front door for the less able to exit. The walk from the parking area to the house is on level gravel and tarmac. The entrance to the house is via 2 steps. We are very happy to assist guests with luggage. Guests are welcome to use our garden which has a gently sloping lawn. Access to the garden is via a level path leading to a set of irregular steps which has a wooden handrail.

This seaside resort on the Bristol Channel is
Somerset’s most westerly town and an important gateway to Exmoor National
Park. However, the tourism boom only came about with the arrival of the
railway. Today Minehead has its own Butlins holiday camp along with the
restored, 17th century harbour. Surrounded by breathtaking scenery, numerous
villages and even the odd prehistoric burial mounds, Minehead hosts the
annual parade of hobbyhorses, whilst the South West Coastpath starts here,
on the seafront.
