The Strathearn Hotel is a beautiful Victorian building set in a friendly suburban setting in Kirkcaldy. Standing within its own landscaped gardens on the picturesque East coast of Fife, it maintains its original character with beautifully appointed public rooms and impressive views over the Firth of Forth.
Famous for linoleum and modern floor coverings,
revolutionised by the introduction of the power loom. Kirkcaldy was one of
the first towns to do so in Scotland. Set amidst hundreds of acres of
parkland and coast, on the outskirts of town stands the 15th century,
Ravenscraig castle. Although the castle has been altered over the ages it
was originally designed to withstand and return artillery fire.
