Cul-de-sac in the centre of Callander just off the main Street and close
to all amenities. Southfork is a modern detached Villa with an excellent
standard of decor and is built on the old Callander to Oban railway
line. The magnificent Callander Crags topped by Queen Victoria’s
Monument can be seen from the rear of the house. Our cosy bedrooms are
all en-suite and well equipped. Residents’ Lounge is available for
guests’ use at all times so enjoy your coffee or drinks down and sit in
the comfort of the residents’ lounge and watch T V, a DVD or listen to
some Scottish music. The spacious garden is equipped with relaxing
furniture. Cyclists are welcome.
We are a two-minute walk from The River Teith, the Meadows picnic area
and Sustrans Cycle path starts close by. If you fancy keeping fit you

Originally a Victorian Villa built by the Station
Masters wife in 1865 as a private residence. The Glengarry is now a
Guest House run by the same family since 1983

storage for bicycles. We provide bright and well proportioned

On the River Teith, lying east of the Trossachs,
Callander is the gateway to the Highlands. Placed firmly on the tourist
trail by Sir Walter Scott and the poet William Wordsworth, the town’s
visitor centre contains a display about the outlaw Rob Roy MacGregor. With
many pleasant walks to the Falls of Leny and Bracklinn Falls only a mile
away, the more experienced walker might like to head for the summit of Ben
Ledi. Callander was used as the location of ‘Tannochbrae’ in the original
series of ‘Dr Finlay’s Casebook’.
