Bridgend Cottage lies to the
west of the A84 at Kilmahog in the Pass of Leny.
Situated beside the River Leny this stone dwelling was built over a
hundred and 50 years ago as a gamekeeper's cottage for a large estate.
It has recently been renovated and enjoys modern amenities whilst
retaining its original character. We have three en-suite bedrooms all on
the first floor. Two of the bedrooms have views over the river towards
the hills, whilst the third bedroom faces over the garden towards the
Pass of Leny. Kilmahog lies a mile north of Callander at Kilmahog at the
mouth of the historic Pass of Leny, and under the shelter of Ben Ledi.
To one side of the cottage is a long distance footpath and cycleway, to
the other side is the River Leny which flows parallel to the old railway
track a short distance away salmon may be seen leaping up the falls of
Leny. We have private fishing rights in the River, and there is also
good fishing in the lochs nearby.

Built in the 1600s by the Clan McNab, the
Dreadnought is centrally situated in the heart of bustling Callander.
The hotel is close to all shops and amenities whilst providing peaceful
