Rosedean Cottage is situated in Wye
Valley Conservation Area, 2.5 miles from
Coleford which was a significant
coal-mining centre where the metallurgist
Robert Forester Mushet perfected the
Bessemer process of steel making. He is
buried at Staunton churchyard.
Rosedean has a lovely, child friendly
