We offer a real working farm experience in the beautiful Herefordshire countryside with all the sights and sounds of the animals and poultry.
 

Collect your own egg for breakfast and after take a walk around the fields or enjoy all the many things that Herefordshire has to offer.


There are wonderful views to the Malvern Hills, Sugar Loaf Mountain and The Skirrid from the farm and some of the bedrooms.

The 17th century barn is a made of traditional Herefordshire red sand stone and was once used to milk the cows in. It has been converted with great attention to detail and to a high standard. There is an inglenook fireplace with wood burner, beamed walls and ceilings, antique stained glass, built in Hoover cleaning system, under floor heating, modern fitted kitchens, comfortable sitting rooms and beautiful bedrooms. A Superb barn conversion sleeping from 2 to 20 on a working farm. There is a swimming pool, swimjet and sauna. *Wi-Fi access for guest with their own laptops.

The cottages are situated in the picturesque and tranquil village of Llangarron, in the Wye Valley close to the historic market towns of Ross on Wye and Monmouth.

 

 

Ideally situated in the Wye-Valley between the two historic market towns of Ross-on-Wye and Monmouth to also visit Hereford with the famous Mappa Mundi housed in its Cathedral, or Abergavenny, the gateway to South Wales and the Brecon Beacons.

 


Enjoy too The Royal Forest-of-Dean, Symonds Yat, the beautiful Wye Valley, Brecon Beacons, Black Mountains, Welsh Borders, Malvern Hills and of course all the superb countryside of the counties of not only Herefordshire, but neighbouring Monmouthshire and Gloucestershire too!

 

WAGONERS COTTAGE is a one storey, two bed roomed, very popular holiday cottage converted from an old farm wagon shed. It has exposed beams and a charm of its own views of open countryside, a patio area with barbecue plus large lawn at the back, all enclosed.

Sleeps 2-4 persons in two bedrooms.

 

BARN HOUSE AND OWLS NEST are two, very comfortable three bed roomed cottages. They have modern kitchens, new bathrooms, sitting and dining rooms in each. Plus the convenience of an extra toilet downstairs. Each self-catering cottage sleeps from 2-6 persons and has its own private enclosed garden, garden furniture, barbecues and views of open countryside.

Sleeps 2-6 persons in 3 bedrooms. These cottages are popular with both couples and families.

 

THE GRANARY is a superb barn conversion sleeping from 6-12. The Granary has original oak beams, an oak floor boarded lounge with large brown leather sofas and a large farmhouse kitchen with a rustic slated floor and a table to seat up to 12.

It has three very spacious bedrooms and three large bathrooms. It can be rented on its own or together with one, two or three of our other cottages, suitable for a large family group. *By Prior Arrangement.

Nestling at the mouth of a spectacular wooded gorge beneath the famous Symond's Yat Rock and beside a mile long stretch of the Rive Wye these six delightful cottages offer a uniquely lovely holiday base. Created from the sympathetic conversion of a 15th century farmstead they are steeped in charm and character and the 80 acres of pasture and ancient woodland surrounding them are home to badgers owls and many other birds. This is truly a nature lovers' paradise – not only a designated area of outstanding natural beauty but also a site of special scientific interest where visitors can often spot fallow deer just outside their door and peregrine falcons nest on the Yat Rock cliffs above.

Glorious walking can be enjoyed from the doorstep and the local area is famous for its abundance of outdoor activities – excellent salmon and coarse fishing can be arranged there are canoe launching facilities close by and kayaking canoeing and white water boat trips down the rapids are all readily available as are climbing golf pony trekking and mountain biking. There is a leisure park on the banks of the Wye and the Museum of Mazes the Butterfly Zoo and 'King Arthur's Cave' where archaeological discoveries include the bones of a sabre toothed tiger are among nearby places of interest.

And no holiday in this glorious corner of England would be complete without a trip to the historic Royal Forest of Dean to enjoy its wonderful array of attractions. Here visitors can explore the ancient iron mines at Clearwell Caves take a ride on the forest's steam railway try their hand at paintballing and quad biking or test their nerve on a high wire forest adventure – to name but a few of its myriad delights. Impressive castles and superb walking in the Welsh Border country and the lovely honey coloured towns and villages of the Cotswolds are a little further afield yet easily accessible as is Hereford's cathedral the magnificent setting for the famous Chained Library and the Mappa Mundi a unique treasure of the medieval world.
