Bed and Breakfast in a
lovely cosy old house with spectacular views of
Uig Bay in the North of Skye. The house is ten
minutes walk from the ferry to the Western
Isles.
The en-suite rooms are
restfully decorated and supplied with facilities
for making a range of hot drinks, a small
refrigerator, a hairdryer and Wi-Fi internet
access. There is a guest room with
books, music and maps. A range of cooked dishes,
local specialities and preserves and freshly
baked bread are available for breakfast. Special
diets are catered for. Uig has 2 shops a filling
station (with LPG), several places to eat, and
is an excellent base for exploring the
breathtaking scenery of North Skye. Private

The Uig Hotel is family
run and an ideal base for touring the island or
catching the ferry to the Hebrides. Most of the
rooms have wonderful views over Uig Bay and Loch
Snizort. The hotel offers well appointed
facilities and friendly service and has been
awarded 3 star STB status.
The lounge bar has a good
selection of single malt whiskies as well as
local cask conditioned ales on tap. The Folly
Restaurant is a member of EatScotland and has
recently received a Taste of Local Food Highly
Commended award. The Folly Restaurant offers an
extensive menu which utilises locally sourced
produce as much as possible. Vegetarians as well
as people with food allergies are well catered
for.
Uig Bay Bed
and Breakfast accommodation consists of a
self-contained apartment with three
bedrooms, one twin and two doubles,
en-suite facilities available.
There is a sitting/dining room with
wonderful views and a kitchen area. The
three rooms can be let separately, so
bookings can be taken for any number of
people from one to six..
The apartment is also available on a self-catering
basis if preferred. TV and radio/CD/cassette
player in lounge. The house has immediate access
to the shore, and is within two minutes walk of
the Ferry Terminal, shop, cafe, pub, filling
station, pottery and brewery.
Situated in Uig on the Isle
of Skye, which has a wealth of country, sea walks
and wildlife Ard- Na- Mara is a family owned bed
and breakfast only 100 metres from the Western
Isles Ferry.
We serve a full British
breakfast, have car parking and storage for
bicycles and welcome pets but unfortunately no
children under 12. The bedrooms are well equipped
with TV, hairdryers, tea/coffee making facilities
and they have sea views, we look forward to your
