This Grade II listed, thatched cottage is set on the edge of the picturesque village of Brighstone. Featured in the television series ‘Brushstrokes’, this 18th Century detached property was formerly a coachman's dwelling, but has since been lovingly renovated to offer a variety of modern conveniences in addition to all of its original character. Accommodation is composed of a sitting and dining room – both with exposed beams and feature fireplaces – a good sized fitted kitchen and two bedrooms. There is also a pretty cottage garden situated to the rear of the property.

Prettily tucked away on a quiet rural lane Sycamores once a simple country barn has been lovingly transformed into a warm and welcoming holiday cottage boasting vaulted ceilings and original beams. Set adjacent to the owners' home it lies a relaxing amble (½ mile) from the sandy beach and a few hundred yards from the island's only National Trust shop and museum and about a mile from glorious Mottistone Manor and Gardens (also N.T.). The surrounding area is wonderful for walking and cycling and a great array of activities and visitor attractions are easily accessible including a pearl factory and dinosaur farm museum. Pubs serving food and shops are found just over a mile away in Brighstone a village teeming with old world charm and featuring a church dating from 1190.
