the heart of the village of St Margarets at
Cliffe.
Housed in a beautiful, traditional Kentish
weather boarded building, parts of which date
back to Elizabethan times.
The hotel has 12 en suite non-smoking rooms and
are equipped with a TV, alarm clock/radio,
tea/coffee making facilities, a hairdryer and
direct dial telephone. Well behaved pets are
permitted to stay in these rooms by arrangement.
All beds have hypo-allergenic feather pillows,
cosy goose down quilts and crisp white linen.
The Bayleaf Restaurant offers fine dining using
local and organic produce where possible and any
dietary requirements can be catered for.
Located just a few minutes walk from the
breathtaking White Cliffs of Dover and the
beautiful South Forelands, yet less than 10
minutes by car from the bustling port of Dover;
gateway to the Continent. For the golfing
enthusiast, there are 4 challenging golf courses
on your doorstep, including the legendary Royal
St. Georges at Sandwich, host to 12 Open
Championships. There is also a wealth of history
to explore nearby including the castles of
Dover, Deal and Walmer and the delightful
cathedral City of Canterbury.

Crabble Hill House is
situated in River, near Dover. An ideal position
for guests using the Channel Tunnel rail network
or the Port of Dover.
For the keen golfers
amongst our guests we offer a shuttle service to
the local Royal Cinque Ports golf clubs.
The house is of art deco design, completely
original in design and interior finish. On arrival at
the house guests luggage will be taken to their
room and if required unpacked and hung. We offer
a complimentary drink in the lounge on arrival.
Guests can expect fresh
flowers, chocolates, fruit and wine
complimentary in their room. Each room has the
benefit of tv/dvd, refreshments tray,
iron/ironing board, Wi-Fi. Guest breakfast will
be served in the garden view room, breakfast is
a preferred affair, from salmon and eggs to a

There are many beautiful walks within five
minutes of the house, as are Dover Castle and
the lovely seaside town of Deal is a short drive
approximately 7 miles. The cathedral city of
Canterbury is 15 miles from the house.
