Reputed to be the oldest private dwelling in England (dating from the 12th century) this delightful house has been beautifully restored. Very comfortably furnished with lovely antiques Two Centuries occupies the first floor of the property. Once a key medieval port Hythe now boasts interesting shops and good restaurants and Folkestone with the Tunnel for Continental day trips is just 2½ miles away. Magnificent castles steam railway and city of Canterbury are all easily accessible. Beach ½ mile. Pub and shop 50 yards.
