The Scarborough Hill Country House Hotel is set in 9 acres of country grounds. 8 individually decorated bedrooms, en-suite facilities, TV, telephone, tea/coffee making facilities.
North Walsham’s novelty feature is a sloping
market place with a three-tiered, 16th century market cross. This unusual
building had to be restored after a fire destroyed part of the town in 1602.
The local church, one of largest in the county features a monument to Sir
William Paston. Further places of interest include a rose centre offering
more than 400 varieties of scented roses, and the Cat Pottery (specialists
in cat and dog designs).
