Just 1½ miles away Horning offers shops restaurants riverside pubs and trips on a paddle steamer whilst at Wroxham (5 miles) boats can be hired to explore the fascinating waterways. Sandy beaches at Sea Palling and Winterton and the picturesque villages bird reserves and salt marshes of the north Norfolk coast are all easily accessible.
