Each of our
three comfortable double bedrooms has its
own character and is furnished and
decorated to a high standard.
The Garden Room has a super king size
bed/twin beds and en-suite shower room,
its own sitting area and entrance from
the patio.
The cosy guests' lounge is the ideal
place to sit and relax before and after
dinner.
Breakfast, and
dinner if required, are served in our dining room
which again, has views of the fields and mountains
beyond our well-kept garden. Packed lunches are
available if requested. Children are welcome but
we do not have special facilities for them. Small
pets are accepted by prior arrangement. We are
committed to providing a genuine and warm welcome,
a relaxed and friendly atmosphere and the
opportunity to enjoy the delights of the wonderful
countryside that surrounds us.

Cartmel was built in 1976 and is an
attractive bungalow set in half an acre
of mature garden, 200 yards from the sea
in the West Highland village of Aultbea,
a small crofting/fishing community on the
shore of Loch Ewe.
All bedrooms are well decorated and furnished to a
high standard, with plenty of space for your
clothing. They all have heaters, electric
blankets, radio alarm clocks, hairdryers, and
hospitality trays. There is a light and spacious
guest sitting room looking out onto our garden,
with colour TV, a selection of books, scrabble and
jigsaw puzzles. Breakfast is served in the dining
room, which has patio windows leading to the
garden. As an alternative to the usual cooked
breakfast (with locally produced free-range eggs),
there is a choice of locally smoked kippers and
smoked haddock. There is off-street parking. There
are has plenty to offer hill walkers and climbers
and excellent golfing at nearby Gairloch and
another excellent day out is Inverewe Gardens.
