Turvelaws Holiday Cottages are situated on a working farm on the edge of the Northumberland National Park and a short distance from the bustling market town of Wooler. The Cheviot Hills are a 5 minute drive and the Heritage Coast of Northumberland is only 1/2 an hours drive from us. The historical towns of Berwick and Alnwick (Alnick Castel and Gardens) are within easy reach as is Lindisfarne and the Scottish Borders. Private tennis court. Fishing on the Till. Room facilities: Mobility info: There are paved paths and ramps up to the doors of all the cottages. Low thresholds exist in door ways. Doors are between 90cm and 80cm wide. Door locks are 95cm high. Topsy Turvey is a house where the bedrooms are downstairs and living/dining/kitchen area is upstairs. One of the downstairs bedrooms has a an ensuite with walk in shower (tray is 9cm high). The other ensuite bathroom is a power shower over bath. The Smithy is all on one level however access to bathroom is narrowed due to towel rail in entrance. No thresholds in this house once you are past the main door. Power shower over bath. The Dovecot is a large spacious house. All living areas are on one level with exception of one upstairs bedroom and ensuite shower room. The other three bedrooms are ensuite - 2 with walk in showers (9cm shower tray) and the other has a power shower over the bath. Doors to patio and garden. Gravel paths to tennis court.
