are pleased to offer you two holiday cottages
for let here at Lowsteads. Being part of the
National Tourist Board, we have been inspected
and awarded for both of our holiday cottages the
Tourist Board Badge of "Three Keys (commended)
Rating". They are both comfortable, single
storey cottages, built in stone. Each posses a
large living room and hall area, three bedrooms
(two twin rooms and one double room); kitchen
and bathroom. There is a lawned garden in front
of the cottages and ample parking to the rear of
them.
The cottages are a short distance from the
sea and are far enough away from the farm
buildings to eliminate disturbance. The cottages
are situated about half a mile away from the
beach known locally as Sugar Sands, This is
accessible by car, down the single tracked
country lane, or on foot which is a 5-10 minute
walk. The village of Longhoughton is one half
mile away, and it contains a small supermarket
(which is open seven days a week), a pub, a post
office and a church. The market town of Alnwick
is about five miles inland.
