Bridleways is quietly
situated in a private rural setting of 3.5 acres
just off the B6030 between Mansfield and
Ollerton.
Bed & Breakfast is
available in the Guest House or Self-Catering in
the caravans or cottage.
Bridleways has direct access on foot along the
bridlepath to Vicar Water Country Park and its
fishing lake, and to Sherwood Pines Forest Park
with its splendid walks and cycle routes, and to
Clipstone Forest which is on the National Cycle
Route.
The market town of Mansfield with its
shopping centres, pubs, clubs, restaurants and
theatre is only a matter of minutes away.
Clumber & Rufford Parks and Newstead Abbey are
all within a short travelling distance. Further
afield is the National Trust property of
Chatsworth Country House. If you wish for
something more lively, Gulliver's Kingdom, and
Nottingham City are also accessible.
The Guest House:
Originally two late 18th century farm cottages,
the low beamed ceilings of the breakfast room capture the charm of the
older part of the building. All nine guest
bedrooms each have an en-suite bath or shower
room, television and tea/coffee making
facilities. There is ample parking available. The guesthouse is AA 3
Star
rated.
Self Catering
Cottage/Static Caravans: The cottage has a
double bedroom and a twin bedded room. There is
a single sofa bed in the family sized sitting
room. The kitchen has a gas cooker, microwave
and fridge with small freezer compartment. There
is a small utility room with a washing machine.
The cottage has full gas central heating and is
available for short breaks or weekly bookings.
Guests' well behaved dogs permitted only by
prior written agreement. Open all year. Short
breaks or weekly bookings.
All the caravans have
fully equipped kitchens with cooker and fridge,
and there are colour TVs in the lounge areas.
Each caravan has one or two bedrooms, a shower room
with W.C and wash basin, and an open plan
kitchen, dining and comfortable lounge area.
Seating in the lounge can be converted to
provide additional beds.
Pine Lodge

There are five main styles
of hand crafted Finnish pine lodges offering
a choice of two, three or four bedroom
accommodation sleeping from 2-8 people.
Most of the lodges are tucked in to the
woodland with several around the lake.
Each lodge is fully furnished and has either a
rustic log burning stove or full central
heating, whilst some have 4-poster beds or a
spa! Included is a fitted kitchen with gas
cooker, oven and grill, fridge, microwave,
crockery, cutlery etc and colour television.
Bathrooms have shower and toilet. Free bed linen
is also provided. The Park has a leisure centre
just for guests’ use that includes a heated
swimming pool and spa. Other activities include
tennis, badminton, boules, table tennis, crazy
golf and archery with private archery tuition
provided. Within the grounds are woodland nature
trails, and an animal corner. There is much to do both on
the Park and in the locality.
So come to
relax but also to explore.

The Forge is a newly
converted stable located in the picturesque
village of Plungar on the Nottingham -
Leicestershire border.
Close to many tourist attractions, ideal for
leisure or business.
The accommodation includes a lounge/dinning
room, kitchen, bedroom with double bed, shower
room and W.C. All rooms are tastefully
decorated, the lounge/dinning room includes a
double sofa bed, TV, radio, DVD, CD and Video

Glebe Farm
Cottages is a converted, Victorian barn
development of five 4 star cottages.
They are set around a landscaped central
courtyard with lavenders and a 100 year
old olive tree each with their own
private garden.
Glebe farm itself is a 110 acre working arable,
beef and lavender farm, 6 miles east of Nottingham
centre in the picturesque river Trent valley.
The fields surround the cottages and are abundant
with wildlife - you may even see a badger at night
or one of our resident herons, ducks or
kingfishers. The cottages are ideally suited for
visiting close by Sherwood Forest (30 minutes),
the ancient market towns of Newark (30 minutes)
famous for its antiques, Southwell Minster (10
minutes) and Lincoln cathedral (45 minutes).
Alternatively why not spend some time enjoying
shopping or the sporting facilities of the
cosmopolitan City of Nottingham city (15 minutes)
which has a wealth to see and do including the
National Watersports Centre, Ice Stadium and
international cricket at Trent Bridge, with
numerous restaurants and theatres it makes an
excellent day or night out.
We have five cottages to choose from, either one,
two or three bed roomed. Four of the cottages have
ground floor bedrooms and shower rooms whilst the
fifth has first floor bedrooms and bathroom. Each
one has been tastefully decorated and furnished.
All are equipped to an very high standard with
underfloor central heating, modern well equipped
kitchen, spacious lounge diner and own garden and
patio furniture and we pride ourselves on the warm
welcome we extend to all our visitors. Ideal for
business and holiday lets, short and weekend
breaks.
