Tenby House
Hotel situated on the south side of Tudor
Square.
It was originally a medieval
coaching-inn known as "The Globe Inn" and
then developed by Sir William Paxton in
1802 as his home.
Many of the fine features which he
incorporated into the building have been
preserved in the Hotel's recent tasteful
renovation and upgrading of facilities.
The accommodation consists of eighteen
en-suite bedrooms with decor and soft
furnishings which echo the grandeur and
style of the Regency building.
Some of the rooms adjoin a grand balcony
which overlooks Tudor Square, the heart of the
town. Tenby House has all the facilities the guest
expects for a comfortable and memorable visit.
The restaurant provides a choice of hot and cold
meals at lunch time and in the evenings. Renowned
for locally caught seafood and prime Welsh steaks,
and our home made dishes of the day using
Pembrokeshire produce where possible. There are
also reasonably priced wines to compliment your
meal. The resorts of Tenby and Saundersfoot are
fringed with golden sand and are ideal for
children. Oakwood, The Crystal Maze and Folley
Farm are all within a 10 minute drive of Tenby
House Hotel and are amongst Wales most popular
tourist attractions.
