Deep amidst tranquil countryside in an elevated position with glorious views over meadows hills and woodlands these beautifully furnished and decorated cottages have been converted from 18th century farm buildings and are set in 20 acres of grounds which include a woodland nature trail plenty of space for children to run around and play in a safe environment. There is also a play area with sandpit rope swings and slide eggs to collect from the resident chickens and ponies and sheep to feed. Four poster beds feature fireplaces with log burning stoves beams and pretty furnishings all add to their charm. Visitors enjoy shared use of the facilities which include a new luxurious indoor heated swimming pool gym and games room sauna and outdoor hot tub – the ultimate for relaxation. Newcastle Emlyn just 5 miles away offers a sports centre antique shops and interesting pubs and restaurants. Also within 5 miles visitors can enjoy horse riding and salmon fishing or watch the fascinating process of traditional cheesemaking whilst the delightful market town of Cardigan 10 miles away boasts tennis golf and cycle hire. The Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and Ceredigion Heritage Coast both 10 miles offer various lovely beaches including Poppit Beach and Mwnt and spectacular coast and hill rambles are sure to delight walking enthusiasts. Two pubs serving food 2 miles shop 4 miles.

Fron Fawr Cottages lie just 5 miles from a truly spectacular coast boasting the 170 mile Pembrokeshire coastal path seals and puffins off rocky headlands super bathing coves like Llangrannog and Mwnt (5 miles) and the wide sands of both Poppit and Newport. The cottages themselves nestle within 48 acres of idyllic countryside and woodland – here visitors can enjoy picnic areas walks and wildlife on the doorstep and pets are welcome. There is also a petanque pitch (boulés) children's swings and barbecue area. Converted from barns and newly refurbished for 2008 the four cottages are now under the same ownership as popular Clydey Cottages (4 miles away) whose delightful indoor heated pool hot tub sauna gym beauty treatments and other facilities are available to Fron Fawr visitors from 11am to 3pm daily.
Boat trips sailing fishing riding golf at Cardigan or Newport (5miles) a dry ski slope and bowling at Cardigan (5 miles) are all readily available and a trip to Oakwood Leisure Park or Folly Farm makes a good day out. The Welsh Wildlife Centre salmon trout and sea trout fishing and horse riding are just 2 miles. Boncath (1 mile) has shops and a pub and there are many country pubs and restaurants nearby.
