The Wynnstay was a well known Coaching Inn on route from both Liverpool to Cardiff and London to Holyhead. There are references dating back to 1727, but the existing building is typical of the Georgian period, and there have been many alterations over the years. Each bedroom is individually styled and complete with shower, welcome tray, digital TV, radio, telephone, modem point, trouser press and hairdryer. The hotel offers a choice of dining, from a light snack in one of the relaxed bars, to a delicious 3 course meal in the hotel's AA Red Rosette restaurant, which uses fresh, local ingredients. Guests are entitled to complimentary membership of the health and fitness club, with its sauna, gym, steam room and swimming pool. It is 50 metres from the main door of the house. There is one step into the garden room (160mm) which has ensuite facilities, one step into the shower (270mm). Assistance dogs are welcomed. There is ample area to exercise dogs. The main house has one step into reception (90mm). The guest lounge & dining room are on the ground floor. There are no steps. Service is available in the dining room and guest lounge. All doors on the ground floor & Garden Room are 800mm wide or wider. Reception desk is at a low level & clipboards are available if necessary. The car park is gravelled & flat. Cars can drive within 2 metres of the Garden Room to access it. There is ample free parking. We are happy to assist guests with luggage.

Welcome to Rhandregynwen Hall set in picturesque countryside, 8 miles north of Welshpool just off A483. This beautifully situated retreat offers three double rooms, two ensuite and one with adjoining bathroom (not shared), and family room. All rooms are equipped with LCD televisions, wireless internet, seating areas, and Tea/coffee facilities. Breakfast is served in the dining room on the ground floor.

The house is on 3 levels and from the ground to first floor there is a 90 degree turn with a small landing over halfway up with another just before the top. There are bannisters all the way up. The stairs are not very steep, and are quite wide.
