Greenside Cottages
offers two delightful newly converted
self-catering cottages in the village of
Waterhouses. Situated on the southern
edge of the Peak District National Park,
in the valley of the River Hamps,
Greenside is the larger cottage and
sleeps 5. It has 3 bedrooms - a double, a
twin (with en-suite WC) and a single. It
boasts a spacious living room with TV; a
well-equipped dining-kitchen with
automatic washer/dryer and a three piece
bathroom.
Greenside Cottage sleeps
two, with a double bed (or twin beds on request).
It has a cosy living room with a log burner, a
well equipped kitchen and three piece bathroom.
Both cottages are attractively furnished, mainly
in pine; with modern amenities in the kitchen,
both have electric cooker, fridge, microwave oven,
toaster and kettle, and in the living room a
colour television and a radio. Both cottages have
full central heating. A cot and high chair are
available on request for both cottages and a sixth
person can be accommodated in Greenside on a
folding bed (suitable mainly for a child).
Bedlinen, except for the cot, and two towels per
person are provided. Extra blankets are available.
We are only 7 miles from both the market towns of
Leek and Ashbourne and within easy reach of
historic houses, such as Chatsworth and Haddon
Hall. Ideal for the Potteries, where Wedgwood,
Royal Doulton and others offer fascinating factory
tours and shops selling their wares.

Enjoying spectacular views over the Manifold Valley (pictured) and a glorious position in the Peak National Park this attractive detached former barn has been converted to a very high standard. Peacefully set on the owner's non working farm with superb walking golf riding fishing and cycle hire locally (traffic free Manifold Trail 1 mile).
