Located in the lovely village of Bawdsey, near Woodbridge, we provide excellent, spacious and well equipped self catering accommodation. Tailors House is fully renovated to a high standard, with Inglenook fireplaces (so that you can enjoy a real fire), and has a wealth of old beams.

Situated in this Designated Area of Natural Beauty, it is an ideal location to explore Suffolk's Heritage Coast, and just a ten minute walk to the sea. Bawdsey Quay has a sandy beach, or you can take the foot ferry from there to Felixstowe. It is also a good place to watch the sunset on the river Deben, which you can also do from the Ramsholt Arms.

Visit Bawdsey Manor (home of the development of radar), the NT Visitors Centre with the ancient Saxon burial site at Sutton Hoo. There are castles at Framlingham and Orford, an RSPB reserve at Minsmere, or the Snape Maltings Concert Hall. For the even more active, Tennis and a good children's playground are in the village, with Swimming pools, sailing, bowls, riding and fishing all available locally.
