It looks directly over the quay to the River Rother and provides unparalleled views of the boats that nestle there and the fields beyond. The accommodation is spread out over one level and the property also boasts its own Juliet balcony, from which you can enjoy a glass of wine as the sun goes down. There is parking for 1 car, but the apartment is situated within easy reach of all the local amenities.

One of the ancient Cinque Ports its history evocatively depicted in a local 'Sound and Light Show' Rye also boasts a wealth of interesting shops and antique emporiums galleries restaurants and historic inns. Close by is the nature reserve at Rye Harbour – also an excellent spot for fishing and sailing – whilst a little further afield lie Battle Abbey romantic Bodiam Castle Great Dixter and Sissinghurst Castle and Gardens. Day trips by rail to France depart from Ashford 20 miles. Shops and pubs 400 yards.

Set close to the owner's home it makes a delightful base from which to explore the many attractions of East Sussex. The nearby wetlands offer wonderful birdwatching and myriad footpaths afford lovely country walks. With its cobbled streets and beautifully preserved medieval Tudor and Georgian houses Rye is a delightful town seemingly almost untouched by time and where visitors will find numerous interesting shops and eating places.
