The Old Black Lion is
just how an old Inn should be... This colourful
17th Century Inn, parts of which date back to
the 1300's, is situated close to what was known
as the Lion Gate, one of the original entrances
to the old walled town of Hay-on-Wye.

A choice of 10 quality en-suite bedrooms, all of
which are non-smoking, and have recently been
sympathetically and tastefully refurbished to a
very high standard providing all modern
amenities including our famous teddy bears. All
bedrooms have direct dial telephones,

main hotel and four are in the adjacent Coach
