entering the restaurant stand on the glass top
and look down into the well.
We currently offer 2 double
rooms, 3 twin rooms as well as a family room
although the twin rooms can be converted to
doubles should you wish. Our triple room offers
3 beds but a fourth can be easily added. No pool
table, no juke box. We are the only inn between
the M4 and Marlborough for travellers along the
A346 from J15. For horse riders water and a tie
up rail is provided, there is a bicycle rack for
cyclists.
The Castle and Ball is situated in the centre of Britain's widest high street, home to an inn since the 15th century. It is an ideal base for visiting Avebury's ancient stone circle and Silbury Hill, and Bowood House and Gardens.
