Surrounded by pastureland it is in the centre of the natural glories of the Yorkshire Dales National Park and a host of places of interest. Aysgarth Waterfalls the Bowes Museum Bolton Castle Middleham Castle and The Forbidden Corner (a labyrinth of tunnels chambers and follies sure to delight children and adults alike) are all nearby. Reeth and Askrigg are both 6 miles and the market towns of Leyburn and Hawes are under 12 miles whilst Kendal in the Lake District is about an hour's drive. Pony trekking 5 miles. Shops in Muker 2 miles.

comfortable holiday home for families or groups it
boasts both a safely enclosed rooftop terrace – making
the most of those splendid views – and a lovely
private garden. This is wonderful walking and
cycling country fly fishing is available locally and
pony trekking can be enjoyed in Arkengarthdale 4
miles. There are castles in Richmond and Middleham and
Wensleydale is home to the Dales Museum the
ropemakers' gallery and Wensleydale creamery in Hawes
the Aysgarth Falls and Castle Bolton. Barnard Castle
and the Bowes Museum are 15 miles Fountains Abbey
Newby Hall and the Lightwater Valley are 25 miles and
the Lake District is about 35 miles. Reeth (3½ miles)
has a small weekly market shops cafés pubs and
restaurants. Pub 500 yards.
